Columbia and Opening Ceremony Collaborated on Another Capsule

For Spring 2018, Columbia and Opening Ceremony launched a vibrant and uplifting floral design collection that utilizes militant-inspired silhouettes as a basis. The capsule consists of heritage pieces by Columbia, including the lightweight half-zip fleece, packable bucket hats, convertible hiking pants and functional vests. While the utility, contained in the performance-oriented product, is maintained, the thematically-appropriate overhauling Spring motifs are exhibited in the beautifully patterned fabrics and "bright electric colorways," which are a staple of Opening Ceremony's approach to active wear.

All in all, the floral design collection consists of 12 distinct pieces. It is only recent that Columbia has been opening up to brand collaboration and it's nice that the utility in the company's garments can finally be reimagined with fashion-forward silhouettes that will appeal to a larger audience.
