The latest model retains its convertible design, allowing it to switch between a hair dryer and air styler, while introducing Ion Smooth Technology to reduce static, tame frizz, and smooth flyaways. Shark also debuts CoandaBoost Technology, which increases airflow to wrap hair more securely around the curling barrel for more defined curls, while simultaneously speeding up drying and styling. A new interaction lets users pause airflow by double-clicking the cool-shot button, making the curling process more intuitive.
Beyond its performance upgrades, the FlexStyle IonCurl receives a more premium exterior finish, launching in Lilac and Strawberry Matcha colorways. According to Shark, engineers overcame the challenge of integrating an ionizer without compromising airflow, ultimately exceeding the original model's performance.
