The Fletcher Hotel by Benthem Crouwel Architekten is Sci-Fi

The Fletcher Hotel either looks like an oversized tool that belongs in the kitchen or an imaginative spaceship that has just set up shop in Amsterdam. Adopting a cylindrical shape made unique due to the spattering of pockmarks or craters on its surface, the Fletcher Hotel has a very futuristic aesthetic. This is only accentuated by the use of blue lights illuminating its exterior at night.

Designed by Benthem Crouwel Architekten, the Fletcher Hotel reaches 60 meters high has boasts 120 rooms, five meeting rooms, a restaurant and a sky lounge. The facade of the Fletcher Hotel is made entirely out of glass, making it look impressively distinctive. The cylindrical theme is perpetuated inside due to the use of round windows as well as unique fixtures in the rooms.
