The ‘OX’ Flatpack Truck can be Easily Transported and Assembled

With the goal of helping those in developing regions get around, British non-profit organization Global Vehicle Trust created a flatpack truck called the OX. The light truck can be transported easily and assembled in a day. As a result, people with little or no access to transport can have a truck at their disposal in a very short amount of time.

Since the truck was built for rural use, it can withstand tough terrains while carrying 13 people or 2,000kg. The OX has a high ground clearance so that it can go up steep hills. In addition, it can make it through water that is up to 75cm deep.

The OX was built to be able to transport itself. Each truck can carry six flatpacked trucks when fully assembled.
