Assistive Fishing Drones

The Aguadrone Spots Fish and Flies Your Lure Towards Them

The Aguadrone is a drone, created by San Diego-based inventor Daniel Marion, that can help you figure out where fish are, before flying your lure to that spot.

Users start by attaching a sonar-enabled Fish Scout Pod, before flying the drone out to areas where they suspect there might be fish. The pod is activated by water exposure, and scans the depths below down to 37 meters. It uses WiFi to transmit its findings to an app on the user's device.

Once fish are located, the drone can be summoned home so a lure can be attached, before the device is sent back to the same spot.

This drone is great for people who don't have the patience to sit for hours while fishing, and is an excellent way to catch fish from far out in the water.
