Leading film and television magazine Variety has officially launched the 'Variety Film Chatter Chart' on Twitter. The new feature leverages the social media platform to track the week's top five most talked about film titles.
In addition to measuring a film's trendiness based on its Twitter engagement, the charts provide a detailed analysis of the week-to-week fluctuations of each title as well as elements such as geolocation-based heat maps, which target trending movies based on their engagement per country.
"Variety Film Chatter Chart is just the latest example of how we continue to bring our audience innovative products that seize on our singular entertainment expertise to drive the entertainment conversation.
