Copper-Dipped Wine Packaging

The Dames Laboure-Roi 2010 Design by Fifty3 Has a Mysterious Look

Branding company Fifty3 took the brief by Dames and turned it into a creative masterpiece. Their instructions were to "make a classic Bordeaux bottle seductive, mysterious and complex," according to Lovely Package, and that's exactly what was achieved.

To gain that seductive quality, Fifty3 decided to pay close attention to the tasting notes of the wine, and made this print front and center of the packaging of the bottle. The print was done in a copper foil to make it stand out and not look cheap, and then the entire bottle was dipped in a copper wax to add that extra bit of pizazz. The result is a very sleek wine bottle designed by Fifty3, and one that users know exactly how it tastes just by picking up the bottle.
