Versatile Fiberglass Sheds

Richard John Andrew's Practice Will Operate from a Garden Shed

From all of the fiberglass sheds on the market, not many are as stylistically extended and multi-functional as the one designed by architect Richard John Andrews. Located in the professional's backyard garden in East London, the job was completed efficiently, while the construction materials were lightweight and sustainable.

Unlike traditional fiberglass sheds that are used predominantly for storage, Richard John Andrews will utilize the 12 square meter space for the practices of his architecture studio, seamlessly mixing the home and work environment.

The shed boasts a timber skeleton and a black fiberglass cladding. On this account, Richard John Andrews' project subscribes to elegant notions of contemporary design. The structure features a translucent polycarbonate roof, which presents a definite emphasis in design.

The entire project was completed within 21 days, between two people.
