FedEx and Microsoft's New Tool Can Help Retailers Optimize Deliveries

FedEx and Microsoft have announced the launch of a new "logistics as a service" cross-platform for brands, merchants, and retailers. The new solution, which merges Microsoft Dynamics 365 technology with Fedex's network intelligence, arrives as part of the two companies' multiyear collaboration deal. A deal that takes aim at revolutionizing commerce, supply chains, and logistics.

With the new solution, retailers will be able to offer consumers a more integrated way to shop while promising them faster and more efficient deliveries. A comprehensive tool, the new solution is said to leverage real-time analytics to help these brands optimize their delivery systems.
