Louis Vuitton Debuts the Spring/Summer 2021 Line with a Playful Short

The genre of the high fashion short film has been gaining traction in recent years as the industry has been moving forward to blur the lines between haute couture and art. Virgil Abloh curated a "prelude" for the upcoming Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2021 menswear collection which is scheduled to make its debut in Shanghai and Tokyo later in the summer. The range features a total of 75 new looks. Some of the silhouettes—25, to be exact—are made from recycled materials and another 25 are repurposed looks from previous collections of the haute couture brand.

The fashion short film is titled 'The Adventures of Zoooom with Friends' and it focuses on "trials and tribulations at Paris Fashion Week.' The sequence was developed by Reggieknow and the original score from The Sa-Ra Creative Partners is incorporated into the composition.
