Demolished City Tables

Ezri Tarazi's Latest Design Project Pays Tribute to War-Torn City Aleppo

Ezri Tarazi's latest design project is a commemorative table that pays tribute to the fallen city of Aleppo. Tarazi Design Studio's powerful furniture concept boasts an irregularly shaped table top and sits on a red-legged frame.

The furniture piece boasts an abstract table top that resembles a handcrafted diorama. Though covered in glass, the top features a grayscale model of Aleppo, destroyed as a result of war. Titled 'Halab is Gone,' this unique home accessory is a detailed replica of urban streets that appear deserted and dilapidated.

In addition to acting as a social commentary on war and conflict, this Aleppo-inspired table by Ezri Tarazi is also disturbingly beautiful and doubles as a sculpture that will appeal to collectors.
