Perception-Bending Eyewear Shops

The Eye Eye Boutique Features a Variety of Spaces

Eye Eye is a new optician and eyewear boutique located in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood that is designed to play with the perception of the shopper. Feeling like something out of Tokyo or Stockholm thanks to its futuristic design scheme, Eye Eye is located in a space that formerly housed a children's clothing store.

Residing within a century-old building in the charming neighborhood, the bright boutique sits at 1,000-square-feet but has a double-height ceiling that adds to the space created by natural lighting and white walls. The Eye Eye shop contains a retail area, exam room, restroom, office and storage area.

One unique request from the owner, an optometrist, was to incorporate information on vision and optics. A unique feature of note is a house-shaped enclosure with a gabled roof that contains the retail space.
