The ETRO Birkenstock 1774 Collection Has Western Detailing

The ETRO Birkenstock 1774 collection is a new lineup from the Italian fashion house as it's collaboration with the German footwear brand that debuted as part of its Fall/Winter 2026 show during Milan Fashion Week.

The collaboration consists of the classic Birkenstock Boston clog that has been given an embroidered overhaul for pops of color and detail across the suede and nappa leather upper. The clogs put a western fashion aesthetic in focus, which is further reinforced with an ornate buckle positioned at the side to further complete the cowboy-inspired look and feel.

The ETRO Birkenstock 1774 collection will release September 2026 and will come in three color schemes to choose from. The footwear was styled with a structure knee-high sock as a further nod to the western-themed design of the collaboration.

3. Embellished Functional Footwear - Ornate embroidery and decorative hardware applied to everyday shoe silhouettes point to new premiumization avenues where utility-driven products carry artisanal value propositions.
Industry Implications
