Etnia Barcelona Drops A New Range of Small-Framed Sunglasses

Etnia Barcelona showcases a new collection of sunglasses in a lookbook inspired by some of the most iconic artists throughout history. The all new Spring/Summer 2018 collection debuts the label's most desirable frames for the warmer seasons. Etnia Barcelona joins forces with photographer Biel Capllonch once again to capture the seasonal eyewear. This time, Capllonch looks to famous pieces such as Eugène Delacroix's 'Liberty Leading the People,' Diego Velázquez's 'The Triumph of Bacchus,' Leonardo da Vinci's 'Lady with an Ermine,' Raphael's 'Young Woman with a Unicorn,' and Caravaggio's 'Boy Bitten by a Lizard,'

Every visual blends together classic artwork with contemporary concepts by replacing certain components with comedic modern motifs. This includes incorporating a gin and tonic in place of a glass orb in de Vinci's piece. There are 37 new frame designs in total, with a predominant retro-futuristic look and colorful options such as orange, pink, and blue. The new collection is available now online, at select retailers, and in store at Etnia Barcelona.
