Erika Janavi's Collection is Inspired by the Body as a Canvas

Recent graduate Erika Janavi showcased her latest collection on C-Heads. The unique collection features embroidery, knitted lace, screen-printed garments and latex floral patterns done by hand. When discussing her vision, Janavi reveals, "My collection was inspired by body canvas like skin, veins, tattoos and I interpreted my illusion of preserved skin worn as a garment."

Models Maxine Anastasia and Jessica Tinkler look like living dolls, posing with stiff body language and vacant, dead-eyed expressions. To finish off, Andrea Csoka-Nemeshegyi provided the girls with a rosy makeup look that manages to look startlingly funereal. Overall, the editorial possesses an ominous vibe that will haunt you long after you've finished browsing through it.

Leva Blaževičiūtė photographed the girls at the 'This and That' store in London.
