Versatile Hybrid Laptops

The HP Envy x2 Offers Different Forms and Functionalities in One package

HP's new Envy x2 is a 2-in-1 computer that is similar to Microsoft's Surface line of devices, while offering unique design features of its own.

The Envy x2 comes in two sizes -- a 13.3-inch model and a slightly bulkier 15.6-inch version. It is fitted with a kickstand that allows you to easily angle the screen as you would with a conventional laptop.

Both models feature 1,920 x 1,080 resolutions, with a pixel density lower than high-end tablets but standard for high-end Windows laptops. Both machines will also be powered by Intel Core M processors. The bigger model can be equipped with up to a 500 GB hybrid hard drive, while the 13-inch version offers solid state storage.

The bigger version retails for $900 and up, while the smaller one has a starting price of $950.
