Engkey Robots are Taking Over South Korea's Classrooms & Schools

As yet another step towards a more technological future, South Korea has deployed 29 Engkey Robots to teach English to elementary school students in school classrooms.

This egg-shaped bot developed by the Korea Institute of Science of Technology stands 3.3 meters high with a TV screen displaying a human face. It putts around the room speaking to students, reading books and dancing to music. The robots are controlled remotely by English teachers in the Philippines.
