Distorted Furniture Designs

End-Grain Makes Pieces that Have a Psychedelic Look

End-Grain is a design studio that likes to experiment with both shape and textures, which is exactly what they have done with their latest pieces. The collection consists of tables, chairs and shelves, all of which have a slightly psychedelic effect.

The shelf for example takes on two purposes: first for placing random objects, and second specifically for standing up books. By adding in a ridge on one side people can then stand up their novels instead of laying them on one side. Even though this seems quite insignificant, it still helps to add a touch of originality to the home, which is always important.

The pieces will be on display during the Brussels Design Exhibition in September 2014, and will hopefully be available to purchase at some point too. Photo Credits: designboom, raw-edges
