The eNascar Heat Pro League Will Feature Real-World Nascar Teams

Stock car racing institution Nascar is taking its first steps into esports with the launch of the eNascar Heat Pro League. Created in collaboration with Race Team Alliance and 704Games, this new Nascar esports league will feature 16 race teams and 32 drivers. The teams will be owned and operated by real-world Nascar race teams, while the players will be chosen from a draft. Fans hoping to compete in the eNascar Heat Pro League will need to own the Nascar Heat 3 video game and will have to qualify for the draft based on performance.

Many of Nascar's prominent teams will be participating in the esports venture, including; Chip Ganassi Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing, Hendrick Motorsports, Richard Childress Racing, Roush Fenway Racing, Stewart Haas Racing, and Team Penske. Each of the teams will field two drivers, one playing on Xbox One and the other on the PlayStation 4.
