Industrial Waste-Made Stools

Philippe Starck and Emeco Elaborate on the Broom Collection

Philippe Starck and Emeco have teamed up again to elaborate on a collection of chairs from 2012. The team made chairs designed from 90% of industrial waste, and now they have put together a set of stools made in the same way.

The stools come in a range of colors such as red, blue, yellow and green. They can be used as both a bar stool, or something to put at the edge of a counter in the kitchen. Either way they sit at the perfect height, and will put any person's conscious at ease knowing that almost the entire item was made in an eco-friendly fashion. It's amazing to see what can be done through recycling objects, and it's a shame more companies are not adopting this method for making materials. Photo Credits: designboom, emeco.net
