This particular BMW 507 was worse for the wear after passing through the hands of various owners and suffering rust, damage and wear-and-tear in different areas. Thankfully however, the vehicle was shipped back to Germany to be restored by BMW themselves. The end result was that the vehicle's motor was fitted appropriately while the V8 engine was rebuilt to the vehicle's original specifications.
