Elqui Domos is a well-know hotel for astronomers. The hotel was built as a dream between the owner and his wife to offer a lodging that guests can enjoy the beautiful clear sky of Elqui Valley. It's the first astronomic hotel in Chile and it's the only one in the South Hemisphere. It's also one of the seven astronomic hotels worldwide. The hotel offers 6 geodesic domes. The room design allows guests to enjoy observing the magic of the sky. Every dome has a telescope, a detachable roof and a large terrace. Just open the detachable roof and the stars are not far from your bed.
