Impossibly Accurate Painted Portraits

The Work of Eloy Morales is Done with Absolute Precision

If it hadn't been for the pictures of artist Eloy Morales at work on one of his pieces, I would've found it exceedingly difficult to accept his work as being painted. The attention to detail in his work is near unbelievable, yet it is indeed the product of a tireless attention to detail and art supplies.

Based out of Spain, Morales has the ability to create portraits with such absolute refinement that it's nothing short of spellbinding. His work is predominantly self portraits that depict himself with paint or mud on his face. I interpret this makeup of sorts as a mask that is placed on his face as a means to hide a certain aspect of his personality. Although this might be an over-analysis, it's no doubt that Morales' work is a true exercise in sheer talent.
