Eleanor Amoroso's Macramé Looks Are Bright and Breezy

It's not easy to bring a toughness to something as crafty-looking as macramé, but Eleanor Amoroso manages to pull it off quite well in her Spring/Summer 2013 collection.

Although the designer's open-circle creations have a slight nostalgia to them, the necklaces and dresses are made in a bright white that keep the looks fresh and far from looking too retro. Unlike other openwork like knits and crochets, these breezy dresses are perfect for keeping your cool in the heat of summer.

The London designer has developed a signature style with the hand-knotting technique for several of her collections, after being haunted by a beautiful macramé dress she couldn't afford. Despite never getting the dress she lusted after, her mastery of the craft has created a new aesthetic that others will certainly be desiring of.
