Glenfiddich, a Scottish distillery, has launched a collection of trucks that run on eco-friendly fuel created from the company's own whisky waste. This development is said to reduce greenhouse gas emissions up to 99% in comparison to other forms of diesel. The initiative is called 'Fuelled by Glenfiddich' and was developed by the company that owns Glenfiddich - William Grant & Sons.
This low-carbon gas is created by using the waste from the distillation process - creating a highly efficient, and eco-conscious distillation and distribution cycle. Glenfiddich has even built fuelling stations in Scotland for its trucks to fill up on the road.
