Eco-Friendly Anthropologie

Classically sophisticated and edgy, Anthropologie has been selling a lifestyle since 1992. The women’s clothing and home furnishing store delivers a one of a kind shopping experience. Taking the time to learn about their customers’ needs, and carefully execute concepts through style of product chosen to be featured in their stores, they are leaders in merchandising and visual displays. Anthropologie has many dedicated blogs and posts solely on the subject of the intense level of creativity and standards of their Visual Display team.

More recently, with the topic of environmental issues being on the tip on everyone’s tongue,Eco-Friendly Anthropologie stepped up and created a series of eco-friendly window displays using recycled materials. The company’s first store to open in London featured a wall of live plants that are watered with rainfall that collects on the rooftop.
There spring windows featured bouquets made from used plastic bottles. This is how they did it…

There method of visual thinking is fresh, out of the box and of course environmentally friendly. In store, they carry products such as the Eco-Jot Notebook, Candle-In-A-Jar and the Paddywax Eco candle, just to name a few, all made from recycled materials. The store made its debut in Canada last year at trendy mini shopping district Shops at Don Mills.

I definitely can’t wait to see what they come up with next…
