'The Big Egg Hunt NY' Kicks Off April with its Easter Egg Hunt

Taking the Easter egg hunt to a whole different level, New York City has started April by hiding 300 eggs all over the city for 'The Big Egg Hunt NY.'

The 300 hidden eggs are no normal eggs; Fabergé commissioned artists, designers and architects to turn these eggs into art by painting them or fairing them up in which ever way they saw fit for charity. With artists like Jeff Koons and Julian Schnabel, architects like Zaha Hadid and Morphosis, graphic designer Debbie Millman, fashion designers like Cynthia Rowley and Diane Von Furstenberg, street artists like Dain, Cost and Faust taking part, the Easter egg hunt is bound to be huge this year.

This modern egg run won't take as long as the olden days because the eggs can be tracked via a smartphone app that will notify a person if they’re near an egg.
