DIY Rickshaw Pulling Robots

Chinese Farmer Creates Robotic "30 Second Son"

We tend to think of robots as walking about universities, or as building cars in high-tech assembly lines. The last place we would probably look would be a Chinese farming village.

Enter Wu Yulu. Without any secondary education, this tinkerer created a robot man to pull his rickshaw called the "30 Second Son" (because that’s how long he works before needing a ‘rest’ or being ‘recharged.’) By the sounds of it, he looks like he’s wound up to get him going.

Yulu, whose property is covered with various robots and creations, has earned the award of "China’s Cleverist Farmer Inventor" and is now working with universities and companies to develop various robots.
