The Webster family created a photo essay for Dwarfism Awareness Month to help stop the bullying of little people. There are over 30,000 people in the United States with dwarfism, many of whom are the butt of people's jokes and are bullied their whole lives.
The Webster family let a photographer follow them around and document their daily lives to show that they are just like everybody else. The heartwarming photo essay shows the family of three walking the streets, shopping and cooking together, much like ordinary people do. The difference is however, they often get stared at and ridiculed solely based on their uncontrollable condition. The goal of the photo series was to not only raise awareness about dwarfism, but also celebrate diversity in general and most importantly, stop bullying.
