Treehouse Pop-Up Shops

Duncan Shotton's ‘POP-UP A TREE SHOP' Sells Products from Up High

Instead of opening a shop at ground level, designer Duncan Shotton decided to open his pop-up shop in a tree and name it ‘POP-UP A TREE SHOP.’ Originally only an online retailer, Shotton decided to venture into the real world. Tied to pieces of string suspended from a wooden pole, Shotton's products dangled in front of passing pedestrians.

The ‘POP-UP A TREE SHOP' was set up at Harajuku in Tokyo. Shotton ran his sky-high retail location until it began to rain. In the process, he greeted fans and customers while holding up signs to drive traffic towards his online presence. A Facebook sign promoting Shotton's social media page was held up along with a placard with the link to his online storefront.
