The Dubuc Motors Tomahawk is a new electric supercar with a claimed 0-60 mph acceleration time of 2.0 seconds. If that figure turns out to be true then the upstart Canadian automaker (the company is based in Quebec) would have the quickest car on the market. Powering the Tomahawk is 100 kWh battery that sends juice to four motors, one in each wheel. Total power output is 800 horsepower and 1,000 lb-ft of torque.
In addition to being quick the Dubuc Motors Tomahawk also has a max range of 370 miles, seating for four and two luggage storage areas. All that's the good news. The bad news is that the Tomahawk isn't on sale yet. Dubuc Motors is attempting a crowdfunding campaign to help get the project into production. If the Dubuc Motors Tomahawk does see production it could put Canada's nascent auto industry on the map.
