MSCHF Unveiled the 'BWD' Sneaker That Can Be Worn Front and Back

Brooklyn-based creative studio MSCHF has revealed dual-wearing system sneakers called the 'BWD.' The sneakers are an innovative wearable that can be worn from the front and the back. MSCHF is known for making innovative and creative footwear items, such as its recent release of the Astro Boy-inspired Astro Boy-inspired Big Red Boots.

The dual-wearing system sneakers have dual foot entrances that allow consumers to have different styling options to choose from. One side through the heel entrance will appear more as a sneaker, while the other side through the wide open entrance will appear more as a pair of slides. The unconventional toe boxes are unlatched as it is transparently wide open for all to see. In terms of design, it has the outlook of a 90s-era skate shoe with white leather uppers and striped ankle graphics. It also has red suede heel counters with MSCHF's three exclamation points branding motif with arrows pointing to it. The midsoles are split between a thick black design with speckled dots and a ribbed gum material on each side.

The sneakers will be available on April 11.
