LittleBits' Droid Inventor Kit Helps Kids Assemble Star Wars-Inspired Botss

Alongside the number of inventive DIY kits that it offers to kids, LittleBits is now launching the Droid Inventor Kit, which gives young creative minds the chance to put together incredible mechanical creations inspired by Star Wars.

The new LittleBits kit was developed as part of a collaboration between Disney and Lucasfilm, offering an empowering product that "inspires [young people] to be creators, not just consumers of technology," according to LittleBits CEO Ayah Bdeir.

The kit includes all of the necessary pieces and instructions for building a DIY droid, plus access to how-to videos for some of the more complex steps. When the Droid Inventor Kit is used with the Droid Inventor app, kids are able to send their bots through special Star Wars-themed missions, level up and unlock new capabilities as they learn.
