Fast casual restaurant Mahana Fresh has teamed up with GLP-1 provider DRIPBaR to launch a new GLP-1-friendly menu.
Mahana Fresh founder and CEO, Dave Wood, recently shared his positive experience using the GLP-1 tirzepatide for weight loss. Inspired by his experience, Wood teamed up with his GLP-1 provider, The DRIPBaR, to collaborate on a GLP-1-friendly menu. The new menu features a slew of bowls designed specifically for consumers using GLP-1s for weight loss. These bowls are smaller in size and feature a higher percentage of protein, with options including sushi-grade ahi tuna, marinated tofu, and more. As Wood explains, "You have to eat a little differently when you’re on a weight loss drug. That was part of the impetus for us creating this menu. People want meals with a higher percentage of protein, that are rich in nutrients, and most importantly, served in smaller portion sizes."
