Drakong, a new player in the gaming peripheral space, has officially launched its first gaming controller titled 'The Challenger.' The Challenger is an Xbox-focused gaming controller, though it also works on PC platforms, designed to offer a top-of-the-line experience at a price of only $34.99 USD.
This controller boasts features for demanding modern video games, such as mappable back buttons, HALL effect analog sticks, a traditional single-button D-Pad, and short actuation HALL-effect triggers. It is important to note, however, that the savings come from The Challenger being a wired controller. Despite this, many gamers prefer wired controllers due to the unnoticeable latency and arguable latency advantages over wireless controllers. In order to counteract the potential downsides of the controller being wired, Drakong includes a 10ft cable to enable wired connections to reach the PC or Xbox console from a couch or chair.
