DraftKings Launches Blockchain-Powered Platform for Sports Art

Fantasy sports company DraftKings has joined the non-fungible token (NFT) hype, launching its own sports-centric digital marketplace. The company aims for the 'DraftKings Marketplace' to be the go-to space for sports fans looking to buy, sell, and trade sports-related NFTs and digital collectibles.

In addition, this new marketplace with also release exclusive digital content via its unique NFT platform, 'Autograph.' The first artworks to be released through 'Autograph' will be from the Tom Brady NFT collection, the first of its kind from the superstar footballer. According to the DraftKings, the company plans to partner with a long list of notable athletes including Tony Hawk, Wayne Gretzky, Derek Jeter, and more.

"We envision DraftKings Marketplace being a premier platform for all within a trend that is decidedly here to stay," said Matt Kalish, the president and co-founder of DraftKings.
