Chip Chomping Goat Ads

The Doritos Goat 4 Sale Commercial is 30 Seconds of Goat Snacking

A new pet turns into a big burden in the new Doritos 'Goat 4 Sale' commercial, which was produced in preparation for the Super Bowl last weekend.

This commercial follows in the footsteps of Doritos commercials from previous years by employing an animal to assist in the humor. In this particular commercial, a man is walking down the road when he sees a sign selling a goat. The goat looks harmless enough as it stands quietly eating out of a Doritos bag.

Once home with the goat, the man stockpiles Doritos until the entire kitchen is full. Unfortunately, the goat eats all the Doritos in one night.

While Doritos Goat 4 Sale is entertaining and funny, it's an odd strategy to present audiences with an entire 30 seconds of a goat eating the product. After all, are you supposed to take your cues from, goat diets?
