The Doppelganger Dinner Features Twin Dishes for Meat an Non-Meat Eaters

The Doppleganger Dinner is an interesting experiment which imitates meat dishes, and each is served next to the vegetarian version. Each dish was crafted so that it would look like its pair other while suiting the dietary needs of either the vegetarian or meat eater.

The concept was first thought up by Mike Lee of Studiofeast when he started to imagine what it was like to dine-out for couples where one person was a vegetarian and the other isn't. Lee created this Doppleganger Dinner experiment so that a vegetarian and meat-eater can enjoy a mutually agreeable meal. Aesthetics have a much bigger role in eating than you might expect, and the team at Studiofest really wanted to challenge themselves by creating meat dish substitutions that look like the real thing.
