The Tap-Enabled Pay Tribute Boxes Support the National Poppy Campaign

Every year, The Royal Canadian Legion runs a National Poppy Campaign with thousands of volunteers and the 2020 campaign is being adjusted to support COVID-19 protocols with masks and contactless donation boxes. With tap-enabled Pay Tribute boxes, customers of HSBC Bank Canada can use their bank cards, mobile phones and wearables to make a donation to the charity and then take a poppy to wear to mark Remembrance Day in November.

Hundreds of the contactless Pay Tribute boxes are being distributed to HSBC Bank Canada branches across the country and select Royal Canadian Legion locations, so that Canadians can safely continue to support veterans from the Canadian armed forces and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
