Pedigree’s Dog Dates Pairs the Elderly with Canine Friends

Loneliness and social isolation can have a significant impact on senior health and to help older people remain socially and physically active, Pedigree launched its Dog Dates campaign. Pedigree asked dog owners to participate in the program so that pets could be matched with elderly people who would benefit from a few hours of quality time spent with a canine companion. While some elderly people can’t commit to having a dog full-time, the Dog Dates provided just the right amount of interaction for both parties.

To spread the word about its Dog Dates, Pedigree created a fun series of ads that show side-by-side images of people and dogs getting groomed and accessorized in similar ways for the event.
