These DIY R2D2 high heels will definitely keep the dark side away from your feet.
Complete with a mini version of the favorite droid with the bleep-bloop vocabulary as the heel itself, these snappy heels will make any geek feel ready for an intergalactic ball. On the front of the heels are blinking LED lights to complete the Sci-Fi fantasy effect. No word on whether these heels will project an image of Princess Leia, but who needs projected damsel images when you can be the image of fashionable geekdom yourself.
Granted, the DIY R2D2 instructions are a little complicated, and will take not only a long hardware store shopping list, but also some technical know how to complete. Still, as Yoda so eloquently puts it, "Do, or do not, there is no try."
