Michelle Romo, the talented illustrator behind Crowded Teeth recently designed an adorable DIY paper toy set for Mr. Printables that takes the form of an island.
The triangular island-shaped paper boxes are modular, so that they can be arranged in any which way you please. There are also a ton of colorful cutout paper characters that can live and play on the islands and when playtime is over, they can be neatly tucked inside of the boxes for an easy cleanup. The mushrooms, trees, mountains and island houses all have smiling faces illustrated in the style of Crowded Teeth characters and they all seem pretty content with their happy island home.
Crowded teeth prepared a colored six page printout that can be downloaded from Mr. Printables and although there's a lot of cutting out to do, it makes for a pretty great rainy day craft.
