Easily customizable, the bars are very portable and contain healthy ingredients such as odor-battling baking soda, toxin-eliminating bentonite clay, moisturizing shea butter and bacteria-fighting tea tree oil. The DIY deodorant also calls for beeswax, cocoa butter and your favorite essential oil (Julie used lavender). As bentonite clay can be irritating to sensitive skin, the blogger suggests doing a patch test first. The ingredient can also be substituted for arrowroot powder.
