A Visual Intro to Smart Crafting

Personally, I am not much into the whole crafting gig. After seeing the cool stuff in Syuzi Pakhchyan’s Fashioning Technology, "A DIY intro to smart crafting", though, I may just change my mind.

The introduction explains that in order to make the DIY technology crafts, one must first learn the basics, which are provided in the technical primers.  You’ll learn about working with LEDs, building your own simple circuits on breadboards, creating soft switches, and screen printing with photo and thermo-chromic inks.

Not all is techno-centric, however.  How about a stylish space invaders tote or an LED bracelet?  The DIY headphones and speakers are cool.  For the crafting designer, how about making your own LED chandelier and photo-chromic blinds?  More in line with traditional crafting are the e-puppets and solar crawler.
