For those looking to make some special treats this Halloween, consider trying this very simple dirt cake recipe. While it sounds strange, this is actually a very delicious and easy way to please the kids this holiday.
This recipe requires 1.5 packages of Oreo cookies, an eight ounce package of cream cheese, half a cup of butter, one cup of powdered sugar, three cups of milk, one tub of whipped cream, two packages of pudding and half a tub of vanilla.
Simply crush all the Oreo cookies into a bowl, mix together the butter, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Mix together pudding and milk then add the previous mixture alongside the whipped cream and stir. Add one layer of crushed Oreo cookies to a new bowl and layer it with the mixture, then continue this layer process until it is full. Feel free to add candied gummies to the top layer (worms work great).
