The Xpire App Helps You Keep Your Digital Footprint Small

Given the amount of recent leaks and hacks, internet privacy concerns and minimizing one's digital footprint is on the minds of many. Developed by computer science student Jesse Stauffer, the Xpire app helps people manage their online presence because "first impressions are everything."

Currently a free download on iTunes, Xpire has three distinguishing features. 'Ephemeral Sharing' allows you to post date content via Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr that will automatically delete itself. You can also search past tweets by keyword, so you can clean up your profile for jobs, family or other sensitive viewers. Their smart algorithms also enable them to analyze your digital footprint and give you a Social Score that lets you know how much "potentially risky content" you post.
