Surrealist Literary Collages

This Digital Collage Captivates and Seduces

Mathias Schweizer collaborated with the Roosje Klap studio to create a series of beautiful digital collages for De Gids, a Dutch literary magazine that's been around since the 1800s.

Considering the legacy of the publication, each collage includes a literary reference within. However, don't fret if you're not well-read enough to catch the mention; the collages are still a feast for the eyes. The project, which is what Klap refers to as "Graphic sex cadavre-exquis," is a dreamy, surrealistic composition.

Each image is sensually dripping with color and texture, lending the series an erotic charge that simply cannot be denied. The series taps into something raw and carnal, although it does so in a subtle, almost sly manner that mimics the art of seduction.
