Diesel Hosts Wild Pool Party to Open Salon Allure

Kicking off the Salon Allure Suites at the W Hotel for Miami Swim Fashion Week, Diesel threw a wild pool party on Friday July 16th and showed the Spring 2011 swim and intimates collection including the popular Fresh and Bright underwear. Diesel took over the W Hotel pool area and decked it out in the Fall 2010 'Be Stupid' campaign including large branded lounge pillows, models laying on floaties, recreating images from the campaign, while the footage from the 'Be Stupid' campaign played on big screens flanking the runway. To complete the decor Diesel brought in a large ice sculpture of Michael Angelo's David that was sporting the Spring 2011 Fresh and Bright underwear collection.

Internationally renowned DJ Mos was in the DJ booth keeping everyone entertained. To top the night off, Diesel also brought in ten synchronized swimmers (all wearing the new Spring 2011 swimwear collection) to perform before and after the runway presentation. The synchronized swimmers performed to a remix of Passion Pit’s remix of 'California Gurls' and Lisztomania’s Alex Metric remix.
