The Beetle-Inspired 'Dew Bank Bottle' Collects Wind-Blown Water

Inspired by the "fog-basking" beetle of the desert, the designer of the Dew Bank Bottle, Kitae Pak, used this perfect strategy to create a water collector.

The beetles stick their backs at the morning air to collect the moisture the wind blows through. This water bottle acts the same way. Placed on a calm flat surface during the night, the bottle collects moisture from the air, thereby providing clean drinking water. The video attached explains the beetle that was the inspiration for the Dew Bank Bottle.
