'SKUM' is a design sculpture produced by BIG for the Roskilde Festival that recreates the aesthetic of foam using solid materials. The end result is a pavilion made using bubble-like spheres that come together to recreate the aesthetic of soapy bubbles.
The pavilion is constructed using the similar material found in bouncy castles tht is filled with technicolor LED lights that bring the space to life in the evenings at the festival. The installation is comprised of several different sized pink spheres that are stacked to create a canopy that visitors can walk under. From the day to the evening the LED lights located inside change color. The installation acts as a social congregating space for festival goers to meet up at.
